Experiment on heat exchange and cooling of pulse detonation engine detonation tube wall

摘要: 利用Pt100热电阻对脉冲爆震发动机(PDE)在有、无水冷状态下爆震管壁沿轴向的温度分布进行了实验研究.实验结果发现爆震管同一轴向位置处,爆震外管壁温度随爆震频率的增加而增加.同一爆震频率时,距推力壁位置越远,爆震外管壁温度相对越高.向爆震管换热系统中通入冷却水之后,爆震外管壁温度有明显的降低,并且爆震外管壁温度梯度也有一定的下降,20Hz时加水冷之后,PDE工作16s时,爆震外管壁温度最高可降低106.5℃.Abstract: Experimental investigation for pulse detonation engine (PDE) tube wall temperature distribution along axial direction with or without cooling water using Pt100 thermal resistance was conducted. The results indicate that the outer detonation tube wall temperature increases as the engine's detonation frequency increases at the same axial location of detonation tube. At the same detonation frequency, the outer detonation tube wall temperature in the zone far away from the thrust wall is higher than that in the zone near the thrust wall. The outer detonation tube wall temperature and the temperature gradient reduces when the cooling water is filled into the detonation heat exchange system. The temperature of outer detonation tube wall could be decreased by 106.5℃ when the PDE works for 16s at the detonation frequency of 20Hz.
