Aerodynamic structural characteristic of box six-component strain-gauge balance in heat state test

  • In order to explore the abnormal phenomena of output signals of three dimensional force sensor in heat state test of box six-component strain-gauge balance,the balance frame,aerodynamic layout and heat state test were analysed for the four-component mechanical single desktop balance and box six-component strain-gauge balance, while the heat stress in stability segment of box six-component strain-gauge balance produced by high temperature flow by restriction of framework and installation was not eliminated or compensated at all. The fuel heater was moved to the exit of stability segment by symmetrical arrangement frame in order to preserve the best special function of heat state test in nozzle model test facility.The heat state test validates that thrust measure value of balance is resumed normally from abnormal negative value, and the problem of abnormal balance output signals is solved by reducing balance mechanical joint, increasing equilibrium of balance and predigesting installation and test of fuel heater, showing that it satisfies the balance heat state test performance requirement.
