Performance test of slinger combustor of turbojet engine running in engine test

  • An engine test was performed to measure the outlet temperature of a turbojet-engine combustor from low to high engine rotating speed. Results show that this slinger combustor has a poor performance at low engine speed, and the performance parameters of the combustor rise with the increasing of engine speed. The indicators of the slinger combustor meet basically the design requirements when the engine reaches the design-point state. Under the design-point state, the measured outlet temperature distribution factor of the slinger combustor is less than 0.31, and combustion efficiency can reach 98.1%.
