Abstract

At present, we are confronted with the realistic conditions to modify aeroengines for burning low BTU gases.The combustion characteristics of these gases are presented in this paper. Some difficulties encountered in burning of these gases in gas turbine combustors are considered and their solutions are proposed through several typical examples of combustor configuration.
