Abstract

Three typical transonis turbine cascades have been designed for this purpose and tested with the aid of three different methods(two-dimensional cascade wind tunnel test, wind tunnel test with sector of annular cascade,and hydraulic analogy). The results of these three methods are compared under the condition of geometry similarity. They are also compared with numerical solutions of the Finite Area Time Marching calculation. The strong and weak points and reliability of these methods are evaluated preliminarily.
