EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON TEMPERATURE FIELDS IN THREE-DIMENSIONAL SWIRLING COMBUSTOR

  • This paper introduces the experimental results of temperature fields in a modelcombustor with a swirler and primary holes. Acetylene is used as gaseous fuel. Under several steady conditions the temperature distributions in primary combustionzone are measured by a pyrometer. The experimental results reveal the effectsof air-fuel ratio, primary holes and secondary holes on the temperature distributionsin the combustor.
