Abstract

Abstract

An experimental method for simulation of foreign object impact damage to a compressor blade is investigated. The impact damage mechanism is analyzed by the aid of a scanning electron microscope. A reasonable experimental method is proposed by comparing the bullet damage witb the pendulum impact damage.
