Abstract

Abstract

A testing principle,method and apparatus for measuring infrared radiative energy of metallic surfaces are presented.The infrared radiation characteristics of irons and stainless steels have been investigated experimentally.The effects of the temperature on the infrared radiative energy of metal materials are considered.The experimental results illustrate that this testing technique is applicable and the measuring apparatus is reliable.
