Abstract

The advanced small gasturbines feature small mass flow ratio,short vanes and blades with low aspect, high second flow and blade tip leakage losses,and low efficiency.According to the detail investigation on the advanced small gas turbines,some technical design approaches for improving the efficiency of a small gasturbine,such as vanes with meridional-plane contraction contour,compounded leaned vanes and blades,small blade shroud and soon.
