EFFECT OF HEAT-TRANSFER LAW ON FINITE-TIME EXERGOECONOMIC OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE OF A CARNOT ENGINE

  • The relationship between optimal efficiency and profit of an endoreversible carnot engine is derived.According to this relationship the finite-time exergoeconomic optimal peroformance of the engine has been considered for three common heat-transfer laws.A number of new universal conclusions have been drawn therefrom.
