INFLUENCE OF RADIATION HEAT LOSS OF ENCLOSURE ON WALL TEMPERATURE OF JET NOZZLE

  • Using the appa rent emissivity,the net heat loss of the radiation from the enclosure surface due to passing through t he open end of the enclosure was calculated. The influence of the net heat loss on surface temperature was also d iscussed.Results showed that the net heat loss on the downstream side of the jet nozzle could reach 20~30% of total heat flux.Therefore it can not be neglected in calculating the wall temperature.
