Abstract

Abstract

A system for integrating design and manufacture of centrifugal compressor by CAD/CAM is established which includes blade design,machining coordinates transformation,blade profilling in arbitrary section,checking coordinate calculation.Especially,a set of design and calculation methods is provided for manufacturing turbomachines by four-axis numerically controlled machining center.The integration system can be used on microcomputer.The system has been applied successfully to designing and machining centrifugal compressors in a factory.It is proven that the system is practical,flexible,reliable and it can cut down the time of design and manufacture with high quality.
