DEVIATION ANGLE DETERMINATION IN TRANSONIC AXIAL FLOW COMPRESSOR DESIGN

  • The deviation angle determination in transonic axial compressor design is analyzed in detail.In addition,the aerodynamic and geometrical parameters acting on deviation angle distribution are discussed.A new deviation angle calculation formula is provided and applied to redesigning of an axial compressor stage.The results show that the aerodynamic and blade design is quite satisfactory.
