A PSEUDOTHERMAL LOAD ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR CONTROLLING CRACK GROWTH IN AN INTELLIGENT COMPOSITE COMPONENT

  • A new method to analyze the stress fields of the intelligent composite components,namely the pseudothermal load method,is proposed for active control of crack growth according to their structural characteristics.This method has been applied to computing and analyzing several intelligent composite components.The results are in good agreement with experimental data.So this is the theoretical basis for research and application of the intelligent composite material with the aim of the crack growth active control.
