STUDY ON SATURATED WATER VAPOR PRESSURE EQUATIONS FOR CALCULATION OF AIRCRAFT AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS

There are notable errors in saturated water vapor pressure equations used in the calculation of aircraft air-conditioning systems.With the aid of regression technique,a new water vapor pressure equation is derived from recent saturation pressure data of pure water and ice.Compared with the equations used at presnt,the new equation remains simple in form,but its accuracy is enhanced so magnificently as to give satisfactory results for aircraft air-conditioning engineering in possible saturation temperature range.
