Abstract

Abstract

In order to investigate the vibrational response of a turbine rotor with thermal bow,a test rig simulating the rotor was set up,on which the temperature field and the thermal deformation of the rotor were measured.The critical speed of the rotor and response to the thermal bow were investigated.The experimental data are in good agreement with results caculated by means of the transfer-matrix method.
