    Abstract
  • Based on the SIMPLE algorithm,a three-dimensional pressure-based finite volume calculation procedure for compressible flows in arbitrary-shaped domains is presented.The pressure is evaluated by the compressible form of the pressure-correction equation of SIMPLE algorithm.The present method is used to compute a number of cases ranging from subsonic flows to supersonic flows.The computed results are in good agreement with the available published experimental and computed data.
