TRANSFER RULE FOR DISCRETE HOLE FILM COOLING

  • A lot of experiments has been carried out to research discrete hole film cooling effectiveness.The effects of the geometric parameters of the discrete hole and the flow parameters on the film cooling effectiveness have been analyzed.A model of covective heat transfer for discrete hole film cooling was created by the heat balance.Six different perforated plates were investigated for this purpose.The data measured are fitted by the least square approximation into some relationships which are useful to design of afterburner heat shield.
