A FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF TRANSIENT HEAT CONDUCTION WITH WEIGHTED VARIABLE FACTOR

  • The stability and oscillation of numerical finite element solution of transient conduction temperature field with two-point time deference scheme have been investigated.The weighted factor of the time diference scheme σ and the time step △t are correlated to the temperature oscillation respectively.Thus the functions of variable σ and △t are obtained.Its application demonstrates the simplicity in programming,high aecuracy and econmy of running time.
