    Abstract
  • A measuring system for ignition delay time,which consists of an Intel 8253 chip,a microcomputer,an electric magnetic valve and an ultraviolet photodiode was developed.It can realize the real-time and on-line measurement with precision of 0.001 second.The system has been used successfully in measuring of ignition delay time to appraise the performance of a catalytic igniter.
