A stress analysis of a Powder Metallurgy (PM) turbine disc was accomplished by finite element method.First, the calculation boundary was determined according to the linkage mode of the rotor, then its elastic, thermoelastic and thermal stress analyses were made. The results show that the deformation of the PM disc is elastic at maximum rotational speed. As the rotational speed exceeds the maximum by 22%,the deformation of disc remains elastic except in the core. The inhomogeneous temperature field has a strong effect on the stress distribution of the disc.
