Abstract

Abstract

An adaptive sealing ring is developed to control the blade tip clearance of compressors with the help of shape memory alloys.Such a ring can change the blade tip clearance in adaption to the working conditions of engine. Its control mechanism is described.The structural design of the adaptive sealing ring is completed.The deformation of the adaptive ring is calculated and analyzed according to the constitutive relation of shape memory alloys.
