Abstract

Abstract

The dropwise condensation is a typical fractal growth process, according to the experimental data and conclusions published in last 30 years.The drop size distribution in dropwise condensation is deduced,based on the random fractal model.The fractal dimension index in the size distribution is determined with renormalization method.The analytical results are in good agreement with experimental data.
