A STUDY ON FATIGUE PROPERTY OF AUSTENITIC WELDED JOINTS IN STATE OF DEFORMING RECRYSTALLIZATION

  • The post weld heat-treatment cannot obviously improve the heterogeneity of microstructure and mechanical property in 1Cr18Ni9Ti welded joints,in particnlar for increasing their fatigue property,because there is no allotropic modification in 1Cr18Ni9Ti alloy,an austenitic stainless steel.Deforming recrystallization can be used to better the microstructure and mechanical properties of austenitic welded joints,and then to enhance their fatigue resistance remarkably.This paper mainly discusses the improvement of the microstructure and fatigue property in 1Cr18Ni9Ti welded joints,and verifies it by the low-cycle fatigue tests.
