Abstract

Abstract

The cascades equipped with conventional smooth blades and three unsmoothed blades were investigaled experimentally in a low speed plane cascade wind tunnel to study the effects of unsmoothed blades on the exit loss distributions.The experiment results show that the unsmoothed blades can change the exit loss distributions and reduce the exit blade losses by 9.1%～16.5%.
