Overall Optimization on Machine-Tool Settings of Spiral Bevel Gears

The first and second order contact parameters of a spiral bevel gear drive are precontrolled by using the local synthesis method.Considering the contact pattern and transmission errors on toe,middle,heel contacts,the third order contact shortcomings are eliminated by optimizing the machine-tool settings.The overall control of engagement quality is realized.
