Abstract

Abstract

An inlet particle separator with vanes in helicopter is investigated.Turbulent bifurcated flowfield and particle motion are simulated in the three dimensional non orthogonal curvilinear coordinate system,boundary condition is treated specially and the effect of vanes on flowfield is considered by the use of zonal method.Predicted results and experimental data are in good agreement.
