  • A shape optimization procedure for integrated impellers is considered.An efficient approach for the structural analysis of integrated impellers is proposed.The mathematical model of the optimization is discussed,including the definition of objective functions,selection of design variables and specification of the optimization restraints.Behavioural constraints comprise stresses,displacements and vibration frequencies.A numerical example is presented in which an impeller is optimized,and in result its weight is reduced efficiently.
