    Abstract
  • The Method of Characteristics (MOC) was applied to the aerospike nozzle.Some particular cases of the aerospike nozzle boundary conditions,expansive wave,oblique shock wave,and so on were considered.Typical flow fields of the aerospike nozzle were obtained.A method of thrust calculation was proposed.The results computed were compared with the experimental data.It is shown that the method is reliable and effective.
