Computation of Flow around Isolated Airfoils with Embedded H-Grid

  • An embedded H grid technique is employed for generating grids of isolated airfoils and cascades.Comparing with original H grid,the embedded H grid is easy to control the orthogonality of grids around the leading and trailing edges of airfoils and useful to improving the accuracy of computation.Two numerical analyses of isolated airfoils under different incidences show that the results of computation using the embedded H grid are in good agreement with experimental data.
