Analysis of Distortion Test Data by Inlet Flat Baffle

In this paper,a method of installing a movable flat baffle upstream the inlet for inducing a distortion flow field is introduced.The airflow disturbance level (W) and the airflow pulsation intensity of engine intake is defined.The test data of distortion flow field at engine intake was analysed,which was obtained by inlet/engine matching test.It is showed that the distribution of dynamic pressure sensors is very important for the disturbance level (W) and the airflow pulsation intensity.And the data sampling rate and sampling time of dynamic pressure can be decreased.
