Jameson/TVD Schemes Applied to Simulating the Flow around Rotor Aerofoil

  • Two methods based on Jameson scheme and Jameson/flux correction TVD (Total Variation Diminishing) mixed scheme are constructed to simulate the flow around rotor airfoil.By using finite volume approach for numerical approximation and Runge Kutta time stepping advance,Euler/Navier Stokes equations are solved.Through the analyses of examples,the characteristics of these two methods are concluded.Also,these methods can be further developed to simulate the turbulent flow around helicopter rotor and to calculate helicopter rotor drag and power.
