  • In order to prove the reason of chin inlet/forebody integrated design and the performance of the inlet,the experimental investigation of the chin inlet configuration of a new design was done.In this experiment,Total pressure recovery (inlet efficiency) and pressure distortions at inlet varied with mass flow coefficient were measured.The experimental results show that this new design configuration is reasonable.Total pressure recovery and pressure distortions at the chin inlet are improved.Inlet/Forebody integration design is advantageous for aircraft.In the end,further improvement of the inlet is presented.
