Double lapped bolted joints are the main structure in design of composite laminates.The effect of the distance between holes is taken into consideration,strength of multiple double lapped joints of T300/KH304 CFRP is analyzed by three dimensional finite element model.Based on the result of stress analysis,Yamada Sun criterion is used to predict the ultimate strength of the joints.Experimental results show that bearing failure is the main failure type,together with the net tension and shear out types,the curve of displacement load approximate a straight line,and Yamada Sun criterion is suitable for prediction of the ultimate strength.Compared with the predictions,a good agreement between experimental and numerical predictions is obtained.
