A method for active vibration control has been investigated in the field of high precision vibration control in this paper.Firstly,the magnetostrictive material,Terfenol D,and actuator made of it,were analyzed.Secondly,the application of adaptive filter algorithm (LMS) to active vibration control was discussed.Finally,section Ⅲ will be devoted to an introduction to one D.O.F active vibration control real time experiments,in which Terfenol D actuator and LMS algorithm were adopted.From the results of real time experiments,it can be concluded that the magnetostrictive material and adaptive filter algorithm are reasonable choice for active vibration control.
