Abstract

On the basis of malfunction detection,the calculation method for the transient thermal field of the nozzle guide vanes for a turbofan engine has been derived,and the transient thermal field analysed in a numerical way.Moreover,the calculation results of the transient thermal stress and the thermal fatigue life were obtained.In this paper,further investigation of the nozzle guide vane failure is performed in detail.
