Based on the conventional design methods of structural vibration,a method is presented to evaluate the reliability of structural vibration.By use of the interference theory of stress and strengh,an interference probability model of the exciting frequency and the natural frequency of a structure has been developed,and a vibration reliability model has been established.The reliability computation formula and its application conditions for the forced resonant response that can damage the structure have also been presented.In general,this method can be applied to the structural components,for which the modal frequencies are not populated densely,such as the blades in turbomachinery.
