Turbulent Flow of Power Law Fluid under the Influence of Its Material Parameters and Pump Impeller Blade Geometry

  • The character of pseudothermal temperature equation is expounded;numerical computation of two phase flow of power law fluid in different kind of pump impeller blade and under the influence of its material parameters (viscosity and flow exponent) has been performed.Pseudothermal temperature on tension side is higher than that on suction side,and pseudothermal temperature near wall is higher than that in interior.Pseudothermal temperature can be used to describe abrasion level.Form the point of view of diminishing the abrasion,we can find blade pump impeller with double arc shape is better than that with single arc shape,pump impeller with small outlet angle is better than that with big outlet angle.The conclusions lay foundation for efficient design and improving the property of pump impeller.
