The Vibration Performance of the Jeffcott Rotor System with SFD in Maneuver Flight

  • This paper sets up the differential equations of motion of a Jeffcott rotor system with squeeze film damper (SFD) and investigates its dynamic performance under maneuver flight. The result shows that the influence of maneuver flight on rotor vibration is evident, the additional centrifugal force and gyroscopic moment caused by maneuver flight will change the force acted on SFD. SFD can attenuate the transient vibration and stabilize the rotor system rapidly.
