Abstract

Abstract

This paper presents the estimated method for the power spectral density of vibration acceleration response of thin cylindrical shell excited by noise. The estimation is compared with the experience of a thin cylindrical shell excited by noise. They have a good agreement. Then a set of formula calculating the power spectral density of Von Mises stress response and its mean square value is given. The result can be applied to fatigue analysis.
