Abstract

Abstract

In order to study how the atmospheric pressure affects the starting of engines and to explore the adjusting rule in the course of engine starting,we did the starting experimental investigation of a turbofan engine starting in plateau area.The experimental problems and steps are discussed.An important facility (a small removable ground test bed) for the experiment is introduced.Adjusting methods of starter and engine are studied.Some data of test running are given in the paper.
