The work carried out in our research group in respect of the mechanic study of nickel base single crystal (SC) superalloys has been reviewed.The models for crystallographic elastoplastic behavior,creep,fatigue and thermomechanical fatigue and life predictive models have been presented and validated.Experiments have been performed for the mechanic behaviors of SC superalloys at different loading conditions for different crystallographic orientations and temperatures,thus the basic data for the validation of the models were acquired.Two ad hoc programs,SLAPSC and umat for ABAQUS,have been developed for the SC blades.The double shear creep specimens and modeling turbine blades have been experimented for the validation of the model.Finally,the SC turbine blades have been analyzed by the models for the strength and life.
