Response of compressor to the inlet combined distortions of pressure and temperature is emphasized in this paper. The mathematic model used in the paper is based on the one dimensional and time dependant Eulerian equations, taking into account of the work applied by compressor system, air bleeding and heating processes. The inlet-outlet assumptions of parallel compressor theory are modified, and the effect of three circumferential combined distortion modes of the compressor is calculated. The changes in compressor stability boundary under distortion conditions are given.According to the calculated results,it could be concluded that among the three combined distortion modes discussed in this paper,if total temperature and total pressure are in the same area, the compressor's stability margin descends to the utmost;if they are in separated areas, the stability boundary descends least;if the areas are partially overlapped, the boundary decreasing amplitudes lie between the former two cases, and this condition also exhibits some of their characteristics.
