Static Characteristics of Metal-Rubber

Metal-Rubber (MR) is a new damping material,and its characteristics are affected by many parameters.In the paper,based on constitutive relations of MR,theoretical analysis and experimental approaches are presented to study the effects of various MR parameters,such as shape,and size on the characteristics of MR.Some general variation patterns of characteristics of MR were found,which were helpful for better designing and make use of the MR.
