Continuum Structural Topology Optimization Using Simulated Annealing Genetic Algorithm

  • In continuum structural topology optimization,Genetic Algorithm (GA) was served as optimization method,binary chromosome of GA was employed to represent a topology structure,and finite element method was used to obtain the displacement,stress and strain of each node,which was included in constraint conditions.In order to improve the efficiency and to make the optimization results better,the simulated annealing technique was embedded with genetic algorithm.The method could adjust the function during optimization.A cantilever plate,as an example,was optimized to show the efficiency of the method.
