Technical Improvement Scheme Analysis of Thrust-Weight Ratio 10 Aeroengine

  • On the basis of a large number of computation and estimation researches,the improvement schemes for increasing aeroengine thrust-weight ratio were studied.Analysis of sensitivity of the aeroengine performance to the design parameters and preliminary optimization calculation were carried out.Due to aerodynamic and thermodynamic progress along with the advancement of materials and technology,aeroengine thrust-weight ratio may reach 12.Then by means of weight decreasing design and the application of especially low weight composite,aeroengine thrust-weight ratio may further enhance to 15. Through the relative difficulty analysis,a viable and short-term realizable improvement scheme, which can enhance the thrust-weight ratio to 15,was presented.
