Discussion of the "Wake Strike" Effects on Flow Field in Axial-Flow Compressor

  • Influence of the wake impact effect on the flow field and its average performance in a low speed axial-flow compressor was investigated by using external acoustic excitations.Main focus is on the flow field calibration, the steady and dynamic performance measurement and the analysis of the experimental data.The results indicate that the time-space structure and the average aerodynamic performance can be improved greatly when the couple of wake impact effect is occurred.
