Abstract

Abstract

The Abu-Ghannam and Shaw (AGS) model was added to the turbulent model in order to simulate the process of laminar to turbulent transition.Flat plate and turbine cascade boundary layer was studied and compared to the experimental data.The results show that the transition process could be better simulated by the transition model,but the simulation shows little deviation from the test data under great change of pressure gradient.
