Numerical simulation of turbofan engine afterburner light-on process was presented.The volume effects of mixer,afterburner and outlet duct was taken into account.Performances of fan,compressor,turbine and time consumed for filling afterburner fuel ducts were incorporated into simulation.Based on the dynamic equations of three volumes,i.e.volumes of afterburner,main combustion chamber and fan duct,the simulation could be rapidly performed with high fidelity and without iteration.
