  • Based on the Reynolds Stress Model, the three-dimensional flow field was numerically simulated using the Reynolds averaged N-S system equations. The flow fields were calculated and compared with the results of several turbulent models. Two typical examples were presented.Comparing numerical results to experimental data,we can find that the numerical results with the Reynolds Stress Model (RSM) are closer to the experimental data than with the Standard k-ε model.Besides, detail flow field of a typical problem was simulated with RSM using three-dimensional unstructured grids.Numerical results show that the Reynolds Stress Model could simulate turbulence anisotropic behavior of the complex three-dimensional flow field.
